About
The University of South Wales is widely regarded as a pivotal institution in both the academic and cultural landscape of Wales due to its long and illustrious history, which spans three centuries. The establishment of the university in 1893 was seen both politically and socially as one of the most momentous events that took place in the nineteenth century. The generosity of ordinary people in Wales served as motivation for the citizens of that country to fight for the founding of universities in their own country.
When a Royal Charter was granted in order to establish a brand new national institution in Wales, there was an undeniable sense of commitment to the people of Wales.Because of its long and illustrious history that spans three centuries, the University of Wales occupies a major position in the intellectual and cultural life of Wales. Entry Requirement
The University requires the following English language qualifications for degree level and higher courses:
- IELTS 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each component or a C grade in English at the GCSE level*.
- Minimum TOEFL score of 72 with at least 18 on reading, 17 on hearing, 20 on speaking, and 17 Passing Marks in ISE III
- A total of 64 on the PTE Academic and PTE Academic UKVI, with a score of 59 in each section..
Tuition Fee
Undergraduate Fees:
- Prices range from £9,000 to £13,500 for degrees like BA, BD, BSC, BAED, CertHE, DipHE, license, foundation, and BENG.
- Cost of an Honours Degree £6,000 £9,000 Master’s Degree £9,000 £13,500
- Per credit, £35 £99 for undergraduate degrees that can be completed in a part-time setting (BA, BD, BSC, BAED, CertHE, DipHE, Licence, Foundation).
- The Inclusive Education Foundation Degree requires 80 semester hours of study (beginning with the 2019–20 school year) £1,300

Scholarship
Scholarships up to $2,000 may be available from the International Office for students responsible for their own education funding when you submit your application. Undergraduate students may receive up to £1,500 (including remedial work. Postgraduate students may receive up to £2,000. Graduates from outside the UK who have completed an undergraduate degree at USW that required at least one year of full-time study on campus may be eligible for a Progression Fee Discount of £6,000.
