The University of Sussex was founded in the 1960s close to Brighton in south England. A leading higher education institution, it conducts research in a wide range of fields. The school was one of the first of the new wave of universities in the United Kingdom to receive a Royal Charter in 1961, maintaining one of the most attractive campuses in the country.

Among the most beautiful campuses in the country, the University of Sussex is located on the coast of Sussex. The campus is situated on rolling parkland at the edge of Brighton, combining award-winning architecture with open green spaces. In 1993, the campus’ heart buildings, designed by Sir Basil Spence, were listed as listed buildings. Twelve schools and research groups are maintained by the university. The university offers more than 500 undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs. Approximately 16,820 students attend Sussex University, with one-fourth of them being postgraduates. A total of 2,200 members make up the teaching staff, including 1,803 teachers and 300 researchers. Students and staff join university programs from more than 100 countries.
