Wrexham Glyndr University rose 14 places this year, placing it at No. 2 in the United Kingdom and No. 1 in Wales for Teaching Quality according to the results of a student survey.

The ranking by the national newspaper is predicated on factors such as students’ perceptions of the quality of their professors’ instruction, the competitiveness of incoming students, the significance of their research, and the future employment prospects of their recent graduates.

The 2018 edition of the guide also features a ranking of universities in England and Wales based on their commitment to and practice of social inclusion.

The rankings are based on important indicators that account for the variety of students admitted and their subsequent academic success in higher education.

This new praise comes not even a week after Glyndr was bumped up more than 40 spots in the rankings compiled by another national newspaper.

The University was once again recognized for the quality of its teaching after climbing more than 40 places in The Guardian’s University Guide league table, now placing it at number 66 in the UK.
