Services for International Students
Swansea offers a meet and greet service from Heathrow Airport and an induction programme to help students settle in. As well as personalised support for English language learning during term time, we offer several pre-sessional courses.
Each campus has a permanent office dedicated to helping international students called International@CampusLife. They provide assistance, advice, and guidance to overseas students in all matters related to visas, money, and welfare.

For a degree program, what IELTS score do I need?
Undergraduate Degrees

Postgraduate Degrees
A minimum score of 6.5 IELTS (or equivalent) is typically requested for postgraduate study; however, there are exceptions, so please check the course page or your offer letter for specific requirements.
Tuition Fee
Students will pay tuition fees based on their choice of course and classification as international or home (UK) students. International students typically pay £12,000 – 18,450 per year.

An SSCE from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), an ICSE from the Council for the Indian Secondary Education (CISCE), or an ISC from the Council for the Indian Secondary Education is required for admission to Swansea University for students from India. The answer is yes. You need a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, and you need a minimum of 60%, or a CGPA of 6.7/10, or a CGPA of 6/7, or a CGPA of 3/4 to enroll in a postgraduate program. Additionally, you must have scored 70% or higher (or the equivalent) in English during your senior year of high school.
Applicants for master’s programs must provide evidence that they have completed their undergraduate degree requirements while using English as their primary language of instruction. If students’ transcripts don’t indicate that English was the language of instruction, they must provide a letter from their schools confirming this. You should take the IELTS to identify any knowledge gaps in your studies.
If you don’t meet the requirements for admission, you can still enroll at The College, Swansea University for a foundation degree, or a pre-or master’s integrated 1-year program. In the end, it will allow you to enroll in a regular course load at Swansea University.

Anyone hoping to win a university scholarship must first submit an application to the university in order to be assigned a student ID number.
