Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
Liverpool is one of the most student-friendly and inexpensive cities in the UK. It’s got a lot going for it, especially for tourists from other countries. There are plenty of high-end dining options, bars, cafes, museums, theaters, and shopping centers in the city. Both of the city’s Premier League football clubs are conveniently located here.
International students are provided with the same housing options as domestic students. The dorms are spacious and designed with the needs of today’s students in mind. You will need to apply for housing in the same way that UK students do if you are coming from abroad to study here.
You absolutely do. U.K. Visas and Immigration recommends that an international student have access to at least £1,023 per month to cover their living expenses. Thus, you need to have £9,207 if you intend to enroll in a course that lasts 9 months or longer.
You have two options for paying your tuition up front: either the full amount or a 50% deposit. This may also include the deposit required of international students. Flywire is available as a means of payment for students.
Yes, an initial payment is required from international students to secure their CAS for studies, which is necessary when applying for a student visa. The cost to attend is £4,000 per year.
Visit the British Embassy or High Commission in your home country if you need a student visa to study in the UK. A passport, a valid CAS letter, evidence of financial support, two recent passport-sized photographs, academic records, and a declaration of intent to return once the degree has been earned are all required.
First and foremost, you must qualify for the funding you’re seeking by meeting the requirements of the funding agency. Second, your statement of purpose for college admissions should be compelling and explain why you want to attend that particular school. You can tell them a little bit about yourself, what you like and don’t like, and why you want to study at Liverpool.
To be accepted into the program of your choice, you must first satisfy its requirements. Even if you don’t quite make the cut for one program, another might be waiting for you if you apply to the right university. You’ll be at your own discretion whether to accept or decline the same.
To help its students gain international experience, Liverpool John Moores University offers a number of study abroad programs. Depending on your goals and preferences, you could teach football in South Africa, instruct kids in Fiji, assist Nepalese community health workers, intern in Shanghai, or enroll in a university in France or another European country.
Top students who enroll in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program abroad in the month of September are eligible for a wide range of international scholarships. A student must have a scholarship offer letter and accept it in order to receive funding for undergraduate study. They need to have enough money to cover their living expenses and not have already taken a UG course at LJMU.
