Bangor University was established in 1884 and has been committed to academic excellence for more than 120 years. Research Assessment Exercise shows that the University of Warwick is a world-class research university. It’s a great place to study and conduct research.
This university was founded in Wales in the nineteenth century as a result of a campaign for higher education provision. There are now many undergraduate courses that offer work placements, which can either be a two-week placement in Year 2 or a voluntary Work Placement Year, taken between Years 2 and 3.
In some cases, undergraduate students can study abroad for a full year, or for a semester, during the summer or a short period during the academic year. Students can add ‘with International Experience’ to their degree after successfully completing a year abroad. Within six months of completing their course, 93 percent of Bangor University graduates are employed or in full-time education.

The academic entry requirements for international applicants are listed below.
Academic Entry Requirements – Undergraduate Courses
If your school leaving qualification means you do not qualify for direct entry into our undergraduate degrees, we will consider you for our undergraduate programs and you may start Year Zero of your International Incorporated Bachelor degree (IIB) program at Bangor University International College* (BUIC). Following the successful completion of year zero at BUIC, you’ll begin your bachelor degree program at Bangor University.
Academic Entry Requirements – Postgraduate Courses
You need to have an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) to apply for the course. You could apply for their IIM if you don’t qualify for entry into the master’s degree in their School of Business. Their partner, Oxford International Education Group, delivers the pre-masters part of the course at Bangor University International College (BUIC). You’ll go on to study for a master’s degree, either in Business Administration, Marketing or HR, at Bangor University.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
To enter programmes within the University’s Academic Schools, you have to need IELTS score 6.0 (minimum) or equivalent score in other English tests. The level required will be determined by the course and the level of study.
